“Bekomold has always been, is and will be.”
I joined Bekomold as a novice. It was the time of the 2008-09 depression, and I was determined to find a job, but everywhere I went they asked for experience; even though I had great certificates and an advanced level language exam, it did not matter. Then a friend recommended me for a logistics job at Bekomold. They called me in, interviewed me, and after the interview I was notified that I had been hired. I felt extremely lucky to be able to join the company.
My promotion is not an ordinary and everyday story. I was hired, I learned the job quickly, I grew professionally, and I started attending another college in parallel. There was a vacancy for the head of logistics position that I wanted to apply for. The management treated me the same as the other candidates, and I went through the same selection process as the others. This was quite a struggle on my part. I was extremely overburdened at the time. I was doing three people’s work at the same time, and I was also preparing for the Assessment Centre with my own coach, which is part of the selection process at management level. The world was closing in on me, that was all I was focused on, but luckily, my husband was there for me all the time and supported me. In retrospect, I am very grateful to him. I went through the selection process, which was eventually crowned with success.
The new job presented new challenges. Leadership role, professional and technical issues. It took me a while to get the hang of it and overcome the initial difficulties.
My work has everything that I love and that is my strong point. It is interesting and dynamic, I simply like it when there is always something happening, and my work is not monotonous. I am not really an extrovert, but I like to be surrounded by people, I like to work in a team. There is always something going on in logistics. Some tasks seem impossible at first, which have always inspired me. Of course, sometimes I do not manage to solve something, but I definitely try and I consider every such task a challenge.
At Bekomold, there is always an opportunity for professional development, which means not only advancement, but also training, professional development training, participation in professional conferences, which helps us do our job. Bekomold always supports us in this, and our managing director is open to continuous development and innovation.
